What you suggested is host specific and its not really what im looking for. The VM still needs to be be restarted on another host inside the cluster when a host failure happens.
Im looking for a way to define that certain VMs should not be started up when a power outage happens and the whole cluster is shutting down because the UPS is running out of power. When the power is back online and the cluster is starting up again, the VMs protected by VMware SRM should not automatically be started up again, because this would result in IP conflicts and such.
