Re: Are there any pitfalls to installing vCenter Server on a host in a cluster already managed by a different vCenter Server?

Hello,

We(the UNIX(Linux) team) are planning to have the 2008r2 VM designated for our vCenter Server created on ESXi hosts exclusively managed by the Windows team.

We do have our own ESXi hosts and we could build the 2008r2 VM there with a 2008r2 VM that the windows team provides to us.

We could go either way.

I am assuming it does not matter if our vCenter Server is embedded in their environment. I was wondering if there was anything that would cause issues down the road if we chose to go that direction.

Thanks
