Cannot/(or don't know how to) log into vSphere Client using vCenter User

Hello,

I'm new to the software and I installed an ESXi 5.1 Host in some sort of testing environment.

On my ESXi I installed 2 Virtual Machines (OS = Windows Server) using the vSphere Client version 5. One of these VMs is used as a Domain Controller, on the other one I installed the vCenter Server version 5.

Now I can't log into the vSphere Client using the Account created during the vCenter Server install. (I also don't really know which account I should use for the authentication, hence I created many accounts during the installation, like Single Sign On)

Is it possible to use the vCenter Server in vSphere Client when the vCenter runs in a VM?

And which user name am I supposed to use when logging into the vSphere Client (witch vCenter)?

If anything is unclear or if I forgot to mention important information, please just ask.

Greets,

David
