I have a storage device attached to my server (pcie device) and when I display the config information from the ESXi host using esxcli tool, the capacity shows as 2222 GB:
Partition Usable Capacity RAID
vgcb0 2222 GB enabled
When I see the capacity value for the same device from the VCenter server, under configuration tab and storage adapter, the capacity shows as "2.02 TB" as shown below. Is ESXi using the "GB" or " GiB" format? How is the conversion calculated from GB to TB to reflect the value in VC?
