The 1000v is a dvSwitch and there is actually an extra trigger for this, however it might not be configured as an alarm by default.
Create a new host alarm definition or edit an existing one, monitoring for events and set the trigger to:
Network Redundancy Degraded on DVPorts
Also you can configure an alarm on the "Physical NIC vmnic6 linkstate is down" event as well.
For this set the trigger to:
esx.problem.net.vmnic.linkstate.down
The following trigger catches the "Link up" event:
esx.clear.net.vmnic.linkstate.up
