vCenter 5.5 - SSO OpenLDAP and Start-TLS

Hi,

does anybody know whether vCenter Server can be convinced to use Start-TLS for OpenLDAP connections?

I don't want to use LDAP over SSL (ldaps://) but Start-TLS, so everything works on port 389.

I created the identity source connection and added the OpenLDAP servers certiticate to the Trust Store. After "calculation certificate usage" I can see that the certificate is not used.

(Yes, my LDAP server accepts Start-TLS connections just fine.)
