vCenter 5.5 Console through proxy

Hello.

Essentially we have a 5.5 Cluster setup that works great.  Local access works fine from terminals on the network.  However remote users access the network typically via proxy over an SSH tunnel.

The user runs Windows, Proxifier and Putty to connect and it all works great.  I was trying to eliminate the Proxifier requirement as well as enable some of the Mac/Linux users some access with the nicer and more compatible web interface.  I created a proxy.pac file that works great.  Testing with several browsers on Mac and PC I can open and do some tasks with the vSphere web client just fine.  However if I attempt to open a console, it seems to spin forever.

We also have vCloud configured and it pops up a nice window and eventually says disconnected when opening the consoles.  Most other actions I've tested work fine.

So everything works great, minus the console piece which is unfortunately an important piece for this.

Some googling didn't yield too much info other than it seemd the vmrc-console was supposed to use the browser proxy, which in this case makes me think this should work.

Ideas, suggestions, etc. to even get me pointed at where to dig in would be appreciated.
