Cluster Networking Issue

Hi,

I've got a strange issue with a distributed switch. Hoping someone can assist.

Details

- 2 Hosts.

- Distributed switch with 2 uplinks (2 physical NICs per host)

- Switch ports configured for trunking. VLAN tagging at the port group.

When a VM is hosted on one of the hosts (any port group), I can ping the gateway and rest of the environment. If I migrate to the other host, all network connectivity is lost on the VM (unable to ping gateway etc).

I've individually removed both NICs from the problematic host uplinks to see if it was a specific NIC causing the issue, but connectivity is lost regardless of which NIC is active.

Physical switch can see the MAC address of the VM even when connected to the problematic host.

Switch config on all 4 ports appears to be the same.

Is there anything else I could check? Seems like a host configuration problem to me but I can't work it out. Happy to provide other details as required.

Thanks.
