I found the same errors in my logs, but this wasn't the problem.
I just had a call with the VMware GSS Team and they found an old plugin registered in vCenter, that waited for an timeout for each login. Only in web client though, as the C# client deactivated the plugin on its own.
We unregistered the plugin and now everthing works smoothly.
