VCVA.

I've reviewed the various KB articles on vCenter Logs "Location of vCenter Server log files (1021804)" but believe I'm looking for a needle in a haystack.

We know something occurred that obstructed the office from accessing their virtual machines and that in order for services to be restored, it required the administrator to power back on the chassis AND restore the vCenter.  Anything in between is unknown at this time.  I was thinking that logs from the ESX servers might be provide some information on what happened to the vCenter or a date/timestamp when it lost connectivity to the vCenter or when the ESX was shutdown.
