Hi,

If you have already try this before and this have failed, it is because your vcenter is not able to resolved the FQDN of your host. Can you just test a ping of FDQN name of your host from your vCenter.

Then, for your information, a previous post was opened for the same subject ealier in the week.

Change ESXi name in vClient
