Just to add, I just tried driver ixgbe-3.18.7. It doesn't break the cards totally like 3.19 but still only advertises 1gb

It would definitely finish before 5 hours. In our SAN(FC) Array it takes less than an hour. On your iSCSI it will not take more thank 5 hours.
