It is because you are not able to resolve your host. Try to connect directly with RDP on your vCenter and try to resolve the FQDN name of your HOST, and from your ESX try to resolve your vCenter....

Hi, did you check the Queue Depth settings and DSNRO (Disk.SchedNumReqOutstanding)? improper values can cause high latency, they have to be the same in you guest OS, esxi host and HBA.

No impact, but it is not a best practice. It is important to keep your vmware tools up to date. This way you will prevent any potential issue.So, i will recommend you to update your tools....
