I think I got the answer... Misread the statement!!! Observation: ESXi can not be installed on more than 2TB lun, but we can get 64 TB vmfs volume. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Perhaps the expired message is referring to the licensing for the host and not for vCenter. Each component has it's own license.

Is it a windows installation of vCenter? Maybe there was already a vCenter installed earlier on that system? You could download the vCenter Appliance and deploy it to your host.
